Ethiopian Electricity Authority Delegation Visits Wuhan Goldhome for Inspection Tour
Recently, a delegation from the Ethiopian Electricity Authority visited Wuhan Goldhome Co., Ltd. for an on-site inspection. The inspection focused on the company's technical and production capabilities in its high-current temperature rise system and GTU high-voltage testing equipment with partial discharge detection, and explored potential future cooperation opportunities.

The delegation first visited the production workshop and high-voltage testing hall, examining the high-current temperature rise system and AC Resonance GTU equipment in detail. Technical engineers explained that the company's high-current temperature rise system employs an integrated structural design, incorporating technologies such as intelligent motor control, motor voltage regulators, and step-up transformers. This equipment features 32-channel temperature monitoring, enabling real-time tracking of temperature changes in key equipment; it utilizes full-wave rectification technology to ensure stable current output; and its air-cooling system allows for continuous and stable operation 24 hours a day, suitable for testing the temperature rise characteristics of power equipment such as transformers and switchgear. This equipment can accurately verify the heating behavior and insulation stability of equipment under high-current loads.

In the GTU high-voltage testing bench demonstration area, engineers provided the client with a detailed introduction to the core parameters and application scenarios of the test bench: the high-voltage section uses SF6 gas-filled sealed insulation, encapsulated within a sealed cavity. The background partial discharge level can be controlled to ≤3 pC. Its compact size, lightweight structure, and ease of transport are its main advantages. The integrated high-voltage disconnect switch and coupling capacitor make it versatile, supporting insulation withstand voltage and partial discharge testing for equipment such as GIS, high-voltage cables, and disc insulators. The test bench complies with ISO 9001 and VDE 0104 standards, effectively ensuring operator safety and testing accuracy. On-site engineers demonstrated the operating procedures and answered customer questions regarding equipment compatibility, technical specifications, and after-sales support.

The customer delegation highly praised the company's superior technical capabilities and performance stability of its high-current temperature rise system and GTU equipment, confirming that these two products fully meet the actual needs of Ethiopian power equipment testing, operation and maintenance, and production trials.
