The HM6090 Portable Contact Resistance Tester is designed using a combination of high-frequency switching power supply technology and digital circuitry. It is suitable for high-precision measurement of contact (loop) resistance in high-voltage switches, as well as other applications requiring high-current, low-resistance measurement.
Features & Advantages
- High current output – The switching power supply puts out a steady high current for a long time. It burns through the oxide film on contacts, so you get accurate results.
- Stable and reliable – Even with heavy interference on site, the last digit on the screen stays within ±1 count. No jumping around. Good repeatability.
- High precision – Uses 16‑bit dual‑channel high‑speed sampling, resolution down to 0.01 μΩ. This is the only domestic tester that hits this resolution and stays stable – it actually beats imported gear.
- Smart protection – Auto‑ranging and built‑in over‑temperature protection. If the unit gets too hot, it shuts off the output by itself. Safe to use.
