20kVA 150kV Partial Discharge Free Inflatable Transformer is a fundamental and severe test applied to electrical equipment to verify the integrity and quality of its insulation system. Inflation Method

20-150

Connection Step:

① Connect the pipelines according to the schematic diagram.

② Open the valve on the sulfur hexafluoride cylinder to maintain approximately 20 kg/cm² pressure on the oxygen gauge.

③ Screw in the oxygen gauge's screw tip to gradually increase pressure. Gas will escape at this point, purging air from the pipeline.

④ Immediately unscrew the charging valve (clockwise) until gas flow into the transformer body is audible.

⑤ Adjust the oxygen gauge's screw tip to maintain an outlet pressure of 5.5 kg/cm².

⑥ Monitor the transformer pressure gauge. When pressure reaches 4.0–5 kg/cm² (0.4–0.5 MPa), immediately close the filling valve fully (counterclockwise). Overpressurization is strictly prohibited to prevent hazards.

⑦ Close the valve on the sulfur hexafluoride cylinder.

⑧ Close the valve on the oxygen gauge to complete the charging operation.

⑨ Disconnect the piping and charging valve. After charging, allow the unit to stand for 5 minutes to ensure thorough gas mixing before operation.
