II. Usage Instructions and Steps

Core Principle: Operate with power disconnected throughout. Follow wiring standards. Select appropriate test settings for requirements. Beginners may follow these steps directly:

 

1. Preparation: Ensure the instrument is fully charged (or connected to 220V power), inspect the 16mm²+1.6mm² test leads for integrity (resistance ≤10mΩ), clean the test piece contacts (remove oxidation and dust), and verify reliable grounding of the instrument.

2. Wiring Procedure: Clamp the current leads (thick wires) to both ends of the DUT. Connect the voltage leads (thin wires) in parallel on the inner side of the current leads (close to the DUT contacts). Prevent loose connections or poor contact.

3. Parameter Settings: After powering on, select the test current range (30A/50A/80A/100A) based on the DUT. Set the test duration (typically 1s/10s). The default measurement range is 0.1μΩ-2mΩ (no manual adjustment required).

4. Initiate Test: After confirming correct wiring, press the "Test" button. The instrument automatically outputs DC current. Once the reading stabilizes, the contact resistance value appears on the screen and is automatically saved.

5. Test Completion: Press the "Stop" button, turn off the instrument power, remove the test leads, and store the instrument in a dry, well-ventilated location.

 

III. Precautions for Use

-  Never connect wires or perform tests while the test object is energized to prevent electric shock and instrument damage.

-  Do not arbitrarily replace test leads. When connecting wires, clamp current and voltage leads separately to avoid wire resistance interfering with measurement accuracy.

- The test environment must comply with 0°C–50°C and relative humidity <80%, avoiding exposure to rain and corrosive gases.

- Limit single test duration to 60 seconds to prevent overheating; clean test clamp contacts promptly after measurement.

- Do not disassemble or repair the instrument yourself. Return it to the factory for servicing if malfunction occurs. Store in a moisture-proof environment when not in use.
