A delegation from Baoding, Hebei Province, visited Goldhomefor an in-depth inspection of the GIS Partial Discharge-Free Fault Simulation Device.

Recently, a delegation representing the power industry from Baoding, Hebei Province, paid a visit to Goldhomefor an inspection tour. The company's General Manager, accompanied by the technical team, warmly received the guests who had travelled from afar. They escorted the visitors through the production workshops, R&D centre, and high-voltage testing hall. During the inspection, Guodian Huamei's independently developed GIS Partial Discharge-Free Fault Simulation Test Device became the focal point of the clients' attention throughout the visit. Both parties engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions regarding the product's technical principles, operational procedures, and application scenarios.

The delegation first conducted a meticulous examination of the apparatus's exterior. Employing a tank-type GIS structural design, the unit presents a horizontal cylindrical form. Its casing utilises high-strength aluminium alloy with a specially treated anti-corrosion surface, achieving a compact structure with streamlined contours. Multiple interfaces and observation ports are distributed across the cylinder, with the position of the internal infrared video probe clearly visible.

The technical engineer explained: 'The core feature of this system is its integrated design – all high-voltage components, including the step-up transformer and coupling capacitors, are housed within the GIS. This not only saves space but, more importantly, ensures the purity of the test environment.' The clients scrutinised the device's nameplate specifications, terminal block layout, and inter-module connections, expressing appreciation for the product's aesthetic craftsmanship and structural design.

As a national high-tech enterprise, Goldhomehas specialised in high-voltage testing since its establishment in 2008. With over 6,000 square metres of factory space, the company holds more than 20 patented technologies and over 10 software copyrights. It has evolved into a renowned domestic manufacturer of high-voltage power testing equipment and a provider of testing services.

In 2021, Goldhome completed a wholly-owned acquisition of Wuhan San Gao Electrical Testing Equipment Co., Ltd., which possesses over three decades of experience in manufacturing ultra-high voltage partial discharge-free testing apparatus. This acquisition further enhanced the company's technical expertise within the high-voltage testing sector. Concurrently, Goldhomemaintains close collaboration with experts and professors from research institutions such as the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute and the School of Electrical Engineering at Wuhan University, continuously driving product technological innovation.

Within the field of GIS partial discharge fault simulation equipment, the company's products have been successfully deployed at the State Grid Tibet Yangbajing High-Altitude Power Testing Research Base. Operating reliably at 4,300 metres above sea level under extreme environmental conditions with temperature variations ranging from -20°C to 40°C, they have withstood rigorous testing.
