Bangladeshi Delegation Visits Goldhome for In-Depth Inspection of Core Power Testing Equipment

Recently, a Bangladeshi client delegation made a special visit to Goldhome for inspection and exchange. The primary purpose of this visit was to conduct on-site inspections and gain an in-depth understanding of the company's core power testing equipment, with a particular focus on examining two key products: the High-Voltage Switch Mechanical Characteristics Tester and the Transformation Ratio Tester. The visit also served to further discuss cooperation matters and verify product compatibility. Goldhome's relevant personnel and technical team extended a warm welcome throughout the visit, providing professional services and accompanying the delegation during inspections, demonstrations, and discussions. This comprehensive showcase of the company's product strengths and overall capabilities earned high recognition from the client delegation, laying a solid foundation for deepening future cooperation and achieving mutual benefits.

Upon arrival at Goldhome, the delegation first held a brief discussion with company representatives. They gained detailed insights into the company's development history, product portfolio, technical capabilities, and overseas collaboration cases. Particular attention was directed towards the performance, application scenarios, and customisation capabilities of the High-Voltage Switch Mechanical Characteristics Tester and the Transformation Ratio Tester. Company representatives, aligning with Bangladesh's power system development requirements, outlined the core advantages of both products and their proven effectiveness in comparable projects. This provided the delegation with an initial, comprehensive understanding of Goldhome's offerings and services, further stimulating their interest in conducting an on-site product inspection.

During the inspection of the High-Voltage Switch Mechanical Characteristics Tester, technical engineers conducted a live operational demonstration, fully presenting the product's testing workflow: First, the power supply and wiring were inspected to ensure secure connections without looseness, preventing contact issues that could compromise results. Test leads were then precisely connected to the corresponding interfaces of the high-voltage switch. Based on the switch type (e.g., circuit breaker, isolator switch), the appropriate test mode was selected on the device's control panel, with core parameters such as closing/opening time, speed, and travel distance configured. Upon initiating the test, the device automatically collects all data during the high-voltage switch's closing and opening cycles. It displays critical information in real-time, including closing/opening times, bounce duration, travel curves, and speed curves. Upon completion, a detailed test report is automatically generated, ready for direct saving or printing to facilitate subsequent data collation and analysis.

Concurrently, the engineer emphasised key testing precautions: Firstly, prior to wiring, verify the high-voltage switch is de-energised and earthed, implementing safety precautions to prevent operational hazards from live-working. Secondly, maintain a clear workspace around the equipment during testing to avoid signal interference and ensure data accuracy. Thirdly, after testing concludes, the test power supply must be switched off before disconnecting test leads, with equipment and cables properly organised. Fourthly, regular calibration and maintenance are essential to ensure long-term stable operation. The client delegation listened attentively, took detailed notes, and frequently paused to observe the equipment's operational status. They proactively inquired about testing specifics, with some members personally operating the equipment to experience the testing process firsthand. They expressed high praise for the device's convenience and precision.

Subsequently, the delegation focused on examining the transformer ratio tester. Technical engineers conducted on-site practical demonstrations, providing detailed explanations of the testing procedure and key precautions. The testing process comprises three main steps: Firstly, correctly connect the test leads, linking the device's input terminals to the power source and its output terminals to the high and low voltage windings of the transformer. Ensure correct polarity to prevent test failure due to reversed connections; Second, configure the transformer's rated turns ratio, connection configuration, and other parameters on the device. After verifying the parameters are correct, initiate the test; Third, the device automatically completes the turns ratio measurement and group identification operations, rapidly displaying the test results. It simultaneously determines whether the transformer's turns ratio meets standard requirements, delivering precise and efficient test data.

Regarding precautions for the ratio tester, the engineer emphasised the following points: Firstly, the transformer's connection group must be confirmed before testing. Parameters should be set according to the group to prevent incorrect settings from affecting results. Secondly, ensure the device is properly earthed during testing to prevent leakage currents and associated safety hazards. Thirdly, avoid touching test leads or transformer terminals during operation to prevent electric shock. Fourthly, for transformers of different voltage ratings, the appropriate test range must be selected to ensure compatibility. The client delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with the technical team regarding optimising testing procedures and parameter adaptation to meet the practical operational requirements of transformers in Bangladesh. The engineers patiently addressed each query, providing tailored recommendations based on the product's characteristics, thereby further enhancing the delegation's confidence in the product.
