Shipment Completed - State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute Procures Goldhome Partial Discharge-Free AC Withstand Voltage Test Equipment and Partial Discharge-Free Inductive Withstand Voltage Test Equipment
In April 2023, State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute commissioned Goldhome Hipot to develop and manufacture two sets of partial discharge-free withstand voltage test equipment. These devices will be deployed for electrical safety monitoring and fault diagnosis in the Sichuan-Chongqing 1000kV UHV AC transmission project, providing enhanced operational reliability for UHV equipment. Upon project completion, the voltage level of the main grid framework in China's Southwest Power Grid will be elevated from 500 kV to 1000 kV. This upgrade will annually transmit over 35 billion kWh of clean electricity, effectively meeting the transmission demands of diversified power sources. It will efficiently integrate electricity from Northwest China, Tibet, and other regions, significantly enhancing the overall power supply capacity for the Chengdu-Chongqing Metropolitan Area. This initiative holds significant importance for establishing a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system while safeguarding regional energy security.

Through joint efforts including multiple technical discussions and a centralized review meeting on testing capabilities, this batch of partial discharge testing equipment has successfully completed preliminary design deliberation, mid-term R&D and production, post-production evaluation and acceptance, and final shipment.
