The 3000A Primary Current Injection Test Set is the most widely used equipment for on-site power testing and factory acceptance testing by switchgear manufacturers. Its primary function is to convert standard mains power into high currents ranging from 0 to 3000A, specifically for conducting current-carrying, temperature rise, and protection tests on electrical equipment.
This device features a dry, air-cooled design that requires no oil and is virtually maintenance-free, making it reliable for use in workshops, switch rooms, or outdoor construction sites. The current can be smoothly adjusted from zero to 3,000 A. The output current is stable and the waveform is clean, without sudden fluctuations, ensuring highly accurate test data that fully meets the requirements for on-site acceptance testing and annual inspections. The unit consists of a control cabinet and a current-boosting transformer, making it easier to disassemble and transport-thereby solving the problem of older high-current equipment being too heavy to move.
