The HM5001B Turns Ratio Tester is the first device of its kind in China to date capable of performing fully blind testing (accurately measuring the turns ratio and tap position, as well as the phase angle, without knowing any parameters of the transformer under test); It meets the needs of turn ratio testing for transformers of all sizes-large, medium, and small-including Z-type transformers, rectifier transformers, electric furnace transformers, non-integer-ratio phase-shifting transformers, balancing transformers, Scott, and reverse-Scott transformers. It is currently the most technologically advanced turn ratio tester in China, featuring a comprehensive set of test items and a full range of measurement parameters.

Connection Wire
When performing three-phase measurements, connect the yellow, green, and red wires on the high-voltage side of the instrument to the A, B, and C terminals on the high-voltage side of the transformer, respectively, and connect the yellow, green, and red wires on the low-voltage side of the instrument to the a, b, and c terminals on the low-voltage side of the transformer, respectively. Testing can only be performed if the connections are correct. The wiring diagram is shown below:
