The HM3001 Digital Earth  Grid Ground Resistance Tester is a versatile instrument capable of measuring the ground resistance of substation earth grids (4 Ω), hydroelectric and thermal power plants, microwave stations (10 Ω), and lightning rods (10 Ω). It employs a new variable-frequency AC power supply and incorporates microprocessor-based control and signal processing, effectively addressing interference issues during testing and simplifying the testing process.

 

Features & Advantages

 

  • 1. Excellent power-frequency equivalence. The test current waveform is a sine wave, with a frequency differing from the power frequency by only 5 Hz; measurements are performed using both 45 Hz and 55 Hz frequencies.
  • 2. Strong interference resistance. This instrument employs the frequency-shift method for measurement, combined with modern software and hardware filtering technologies, resulting in high interference resistance and stable, reliable test data.
  • 3. High accuracy. With a basic error of only 0.005 Ω, it can be used to measure the ground impedance of large grounding grids with very low resistance.
  • 4. Powerful functionality. It can measure the ground resistance of current and voltage stakes, grounding grids, continuity resistance, and soil resistivity.
  • 5. Simple operation. Measurement results are displayed directly.
  • 6. Minimal wiring effort; no high-current cables are required.
