Product Overview
HM2672 Earth Resistance Tester tests the resistance between protective earth points and exposed metal casings of motors, electrical equipment and household appliances. It meets test standards of GB 4706.1 and GB 9706.1 for household and medical electrical safety
Main Features
First, it automatically compensates for test lead resistance and fixture contact resistance, eliminating the need for manual zeroing. During measurement, the instrument automatically switches ranges based on the measured value without requiring manual intervention. Additionally, it features overcurrent and undercurrent alerts and protection functions; should any current abnormalities occur, it will issue a warning and activate protective measures.
For scenarios requiring repeated testing, this instrument can store test conditions and recall them directly upon the next startup, eliminating the need for repeated setup. When measurement results exceed preset alarm thresholds, it triggers audible and visual alarms, allowing operators to identify issues immediately.
In terms of test modes, it supports both single-shot and continuous testing, making it particularly suitable for assembly line operations-you can keep the instrument running continuously and test products as they pass by, significantly improving efficiency.
Calibration is also very simple; software calibration can be completed using the front-panel buttons, without the need to open the housing or adjust potentiometers. Additionally, the instrument offers optional computer communication and control interfaces, facilitating integration into automated systems or data acquisition.
