The HM-GTB-5/100 AC/DC Withstand Voltage Tester is an optimized and improved version of the YD series test transformers and similar electromechanical products, manufactured in accordance with the national standard ZBK-41006-89. The unit consists of two main components: a control console (control cabinet) and a dry-type test transformer, and is capable of performing AC and DC high-voltage dielectric strength tests.

Q: What is the continuous operating time?

A: The continuous operating time for each test should not exceed 1 minute; after that, the power should be turned off to allow the unit to cool down.

Q: What is the difference between DC and AC testing?

A: The wiring is the same; however, for DC testing, a high-voltage rectifier diode must be installed at the high-voltage output terminal, and the output voltage is 1.414 times the AC voltage.
