The HMDBF is primarily used for induction withstand voltage tests on transformers and instrument transformers, particularly for evaluating the longitudinal insulation between turns, layers, sections, and phases of windings. Utilizing power electronics technology, the equipment features a frequency converter at its core, combined with digital control technology, enabling it to output test voltages at multiples of 50 Hz, 100 Hz, 150 Hz, and 200 Hz, thereby meeting the requirements for induced withstand voltage and voltage-current characteristic testing of power equipment such as transformers and instrument transformers.
