Usage Instructions
1. Connect the voltage divider to the test specimen first.
2. Insert the grounding lead into the socket at the base of the voltage divider. Securely ground the clamp.
3. Connect the high-voltage lead to the top of the equalizing ring and tighten it securely with the terminal bolt.
4. Apply high voltage and read the measurement directly from the voltmeter display. Personnel must not approach the high-voltage arm of the divider during testing to avoid danger.
5. After testing, first disconnect the power supply to the high-voltage equipment. Only enter the site for related operations once the multifunctional multimeter reading returns to zero.
6. During use and maintenance, ensure the surface of the voltage divider remains clean and free of contamination.
7. Store this instrument in a dry location and handle with care.
