The HM6020 Zinc Oxide Surge Arrester Tester is used to detect internal defects caused by poor electrical contact in the MOA valves of gapless zinc oxide surge arresters used in power systems rated at 10 kV and below, and to measure the DC reference voltage (U1mA) of the MOA and the leakage current at 0.75 U1mA.
