Goldhomei Deepens Engagement in Oil and Gas Rescue Sector with Specialised High-Voltage Electrical Safety Training

To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important directives on production safety, actively respond to the three-year campaign for fundamental improvements in safety management within the power and long-distance oil/gas pipeline industries, and further consolidate electrical safety foundations in oil and gas rescue operations while preventing high-voltage electrical accidents, Goldhome recently focused on core tasks in oil and gas pipeline emergency repairs and routine inspections, meticulously organising specialised high-voltage electrical safety training for the oil and gas rescue sector. This initiative effectively enhances personnel's capabilities in electrical safety risk prevention and emergency response, fortifying the electrical safety defences for the secure and stable operation of oil and gas pipelines.
The training closely aligned with practical scenarios such as emergency repairs and inspections for oil and gas pipelines, abandoning a one-size-fits-all approach. precisely targeting high-frequency, high-risk pain points and challenges in high-voltage electrical safety during field operations. Employing a tripartite training model of 'theoretical instruction + case analysis + practical drills', it ensured content relevance to job roles while balancing professionalism and practicality, truly achieving 'integration of learning and application'.

During the theoretical lectures, Goldhome engaged senior experts in electrical safety to deliver systematic explanations covering the entire process of high-voltage electrical safety management for oil and gas pipeline operations. Key focus was placed on interpreting relevant regulations and standards, including the Criteria for Identifying Major Electrical Safety Hazards and the Supervision and Management Regulations for Electrical Safety Hazard Remediation. This clarified fundamental requirements and operational protocols for high-voltage electrical safety during pipeline inspections and emergency repairs, equipping trainees with comprehensive understanding of legal foundations and industry standards for safe operations. Concurrently, experts analysed core topics such as high-voltage electrical equipment operation, high-voltage line protection, and temporary power management, tailored to the control characteristics of high-consequence zones in oil and gas pipelines. Detailed guidance was provided on accurately identifying hazards during inspections-including damaged high-voltage lines, aged equipment insulation, and poor grounding-alongside critical emergency procedures such as high-voltage power disconnection, live-line work protection, and handling equipment leakage. This helped participants establish a safety philosophy centred on 'safety first, prevention foremost, and comprehensive management,' thereby strengthening their theoretical foundation.

Addressing the unique demands of oil and gas pipeline emergency repairs, the training specifically included a module on high-voltage power emergency response. This focused on procedures and techniques for handling unexpected high-voltage incidents at repair sites. Drawing on recent typical high-voltage safety incidents within the oil and gas sector, experts conducted in-depth analyses of accident causes, lessons learned, and corrective measures. The session particularly emphasised practical operational points for emergency shutdowns, fault diagnosis, and temporary power supply safeguards for high-voltage electrical equipment during sudden scenarios such as pipeline leaks and geological hazards. It clarified personnel roles, operational standards, and safety precautions during emergency response, guiding participants to master emergency procedures. This enhances their emergency response and collaborative handling capabilities, ensuring swift, standardised, and efficient management of sudden high-voltage electrical safety incidents to minimise accident losses.

This specialised training initiative represents a significant step by Goldhome in deepening its engagement within the oil and gas rescue sector and fulfilling its safety production responsibilities. It not only further standardises high-voltage electrical safety procedures during oil and gas pipeline operations and elevates the professional competence and safety capabilities of relevant personnel, but also provides robust support for advancing fundamental safety improvements within the oil and gas long-distance pipeline industry, ensuring the secure and stable operation of oil and gas pipelines. Moving forward, Goldhome will maintain its focus on addressing electrical safety requirements within oil and gas rescue operations. The company will continuously refine training content, innovate delivery methods, and institutionalise regular safety training alongside on-the-job drills. These sustained efforts will further consolidate the foundation for production safety, thereby contributing to the secure and high-quality development of the oil and gas rescue sector.
