Product Overview
The DC resistance of transformers is a mandatory test item during the manufacturing process for both semi-finished and finished products, as well as during installation commissioning tests and preventive maintenance testing in power systems. The HM5002 effectively detects manufacturing defects and operational hazards in transformer coils, including material selection issues, welding defects, loose connection components, short circuits, and open circuits. To meet the demand for rapid DC resistance testing of transformers, a new generation of CT series DC resistance testers has been developed.

Operating Prnciple
Basic Principles
The product operates on the typical four-wire system measurement, in order to be more precise when measuring resistance values, especially that of low resistance. The main body of a testing electric circuit consists of a program controlled constant current source, a program controlled optical preamplifier and an A/D converter. The central control unit imposes a constant and precise current to an external load which is to be measured, after analyzing the data acquired (including testing voltage, current testing current and so on), you can get the real resistance value.
This product can save 255 testing data, which will not lose when it is reset or out of electricity. All the data saved can be printed.
