Operation Methods and Main Interface Overview
1. How to Use the Controller
The controller has three operating modes: "Rotate Left," "Rotate Right," and "Press." These three functions allow you to easily move the cursor, enter data, and select items.
2. Main Menu (See Figure 2)
The main menu contains seven options: "Excitation," "Rating Ratio and Polarity," "AC Withstand Voltage," "Primary Current Injection," "Data Query," "Demagnetization," and "Back." These can be selected and configured using the controller.

8. CT Testing
To perform tests on the current transformer's excitation characteristics, turns ratio, polarity, primary current, AC withstand voltage, and demagnetization, move the cursor to "CT" and select the corresponding test option.
1. CT Excitation (V-A) Characteristic Test
Press the "Excitation" button to enter the test interface, as shown in Figure 4.
1) Parameter Settings:
Excitation Current: The setting range (0–20 A) represents the maximum current the instrument can output. If the current reaches the set value during the test, the current increase will automatically stop to prevent equipment damage. Typically, a current setting of 1 A or higher is sufficient to detect the inflection point.
Excitation Voltage: The setting range (0–1000 V) represents the maximum voltage the instrument can output. Typically, the voltage should be set slightly higher than the inflection point voltage to ensure a more balanced curve display. If the voltage is set too high, the curve will approach the Y-axis; if set too low, it will approach the X-axis. If the voltage reaches the set value during the test, the instrument will automatically stop increasing the voltage to prevent equipment damage.
