The HM2571 Digital Earth Resistance Tester is a professional measurement device widely used in power, telecommunications, railway, and industrial/mining enterprises. This instrument employs advanced integrated circuitry and DC/AC conversion technology, replacing traditional hand-crank generators to measure ground resistance values for various facilities. This device integrates both three-terminal and four-terminal measurement methods into a single unit, ensuring simple and efficient operation. It accurately performs tasks such as power system ground resistance testing, communication base station grounding safety assessments, and railway system grounding facility maintenance, thereby ensuring the safe and stable operation of electrical equipment.

Operating Procedure:
Ground Resistance Measurement (as shown in Figure 1)
- Position the grounding electrode E (C2, P2), potential probe P1, and current probe C1 in a straight line 20 meters apart. Place the potential probe midway between E and C, then insert all probes into the ground as required.
- Connect the earth resistance tester terminals E (C2, P2), P1, and C1 to the corresponding probe locations using dedicated cables.
- Turn the earth resistance tester power switch to "ON". Select an appropriate range by lightly pressing the corresponding key until its indicator light illuminates. The value displayed on the LCD screen represents the measured earth resistance.
