On-Site Commissioning | Successful On-Site Testing of the HM3986-600V/50A Battery Charge/Discharge Tester
Recently, the Goldhome Hipottechnical team traveled to the customer's project site to conduct power-up commissioning, performance verification, and full-function testing on the delivered HM3986-600V/50A battery charge/discharge tester. Currently, all testing activities are progressing steadily, and the equipment is operating in a stable and satisfactory condition.

The HM3986-600V/50A Battery Charge/Discharge Tester deployed for this project is a high-voltage, high-current integrated testing device designed for 600V voltage levels and 50A rated current conditions. It combines multiple functions-including intelligent charging, constant-current discharge, battery activation, capacity verification, and cell voltage monitoring-into a single unit. It is primarily suitable for high-voltage battery banks, UPS power units, and for the daily maintenance, capacity verification, and fault diagnosis of DC power panel battery banks. It is widely used in power substations, energy storage stations, industrial and mining enterprises, and other similar settings.
During on-site commissioning, technicians strictly adhere to testing standards to sequentially complete equipment wiring verification, system parameter configuration, constant-current discharge testing, intelligent three-stage charging testing, and data acquisition with curve generation. The device responds rapidly throughout the process, with linear and stable current and voltage regulation and precise data sampling. It records core data such as battery voltage, current, discharge duration, and remaining capacity in real time, and supports the automatic generation of test reports, significantly improving the efficiency of battery operation and maintenance testing.
Additionally, the equipment is equipped with comprehensive safety protection mechanisms, featuring multiple safeguards against overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, reverse connection, and short circuits. This ensures a safe and controllable testing process, effectively mitigating risks associated with high-voltage battery pack testing and guaranteeing the safe and standardized conduct of on-site testing operations.
Currently, the overall commissioning of the equipment is proceeding smoothly, with all performance metrics meeting design and industry standards. Moving forward, we will continue to complete fine-tuning, on-site practical training, and acceptance and handover procedures to ensure the equipment is rapidly integrated into routine battery testing and maintenance operations, providing precise and reliable technical support for the safe and stable operation of our customers' DC power systems.
