Recently, Mr. Chen, a technical engineer of Wuhan Goldhome Hipot Electrical Co., Ltd. (Goldhome), travelled to a customer site in Turkey and completed the on-site installation, system commissioning and operator training for a transformer comprehensive test bench. Following on-site verification, the equipment's functions and measurement performance met the project requirements, and the system has been handed over and put into service for the customer's transformer factory testing work.

1. Taking Service to the Customer's Site
After the equipment arrived at the customer's site in Turkey, Mr. Chen first carried out a site survey based on the customer's power supply conditions, available space and the specifications of the transformers to be tested. This established the installation position of the test bench, the primary and secondary wiring scheme, and the grounding arrangement.
He then completed positioning, wiring and safety checks for the test bench, verifying circuit connections, signal acquisition and grounding item by item so that the equipment was ready for power-on.
For an overseas project, getting the equipment to site is only the first step. Whether it can be energised, run stably and measure accurately is what really closes the delivery loop.

2. One Test Bench, Six Test Functions
The transformer comprehensive test bench delivered in this project is an integrated test system developed by Goldhome for the factory testing and handover testing of power transformers. It combines several standard test functions on a single platform:
No-load test: measuring no-load loss and no-load current to evaluate core performance;
Load test: measuring load loss and impedance voltage to assess winding and temperature-rise characteristics;
Power-frequency withstand voltage test: verifying the withstand capability of the transformer's main and longitudinal insulation;
Turns ratio test: checking the ratio and vector group at each tap position to verify the winding turns relationship;
DC resistance test: measuring winding DC resistance to identify welding and contact quality issues;
Insulation resistance test: assessing moisture ingress and deterioration of the insulation system.
The main technical features of the test bench are summarised below:

3. On-Site Commissioning: From Power-On Self-Test to Data Verification
- Commissioning followed a standardised workflow, covering the following steps:
- Installation and wiring re-check: verifying connections in the main circuit, control circuit and measurement circuit, and checking grounding and safety protection status;
- System self-test and parameter configuration: setting up the system according to the nameplate data of the transformer under test and the required test items;
- Live testing and data comparison: performing the tests on the customer's transformer and checking the measured data against factory data for consistency;
- Protection function verification: testing over-voltage, over-current, zero-position start and emergency stop logic item by item;
- Data management demonstration: verifying test record storage, USB export and report printing;
- Operator training and maintenance briefing: explaining test procedures, safety precautions and routine maintenance points.
After on-site inspection and joint debugging, the test bench operated normally with stable measurement data, and all functions met the customer's application requirements.
4. Cross-Border Delivery: More Than Installing a Machine
For large test equipment, delivery never ends when the machine arrives on site. This Turkish project covered the complete service chain: factory joint testing after manufacturing (with the customer on site to witness acceptance), shipment, on-site installation and commissioning, operator training and follow-up remote technical support.
The customer only needs to work with one team, from equipment to operation. On service response, Goldhome has established a technical support mechanism that responds within 30 minutes and provides a solution within 2 hours, together with a lifetime maintenance commitment from a single purchase.
To date, the company's products have served customers in more than 100 countries and regions across six continents.
5. Conclusion
From Shandong to Turkey, from domestic sites to overseas construction sites, Goldhome's technical team continues to bring installation, commissioning and technical service to its customers. With the transformer comprehensive test bench now in operation at the customer's site in Turkey, the company's project delivery capability in overseas markets has been verified once again.
Going forward, Goldhome will continue to support customers' power testing work worldwide with reliable products and professional on-site service.
