The GTU fully enclosed 600 kVA/600 kV partial discharge-free test system consists primarily of a control system, a high-voltage power supply system, a test specimen interface system, and a low-voltage power supply system. Tests are conducted in an unshielded environment, with harmonic content in the test power supply less than 5 percent. At rated voltage, the partial discharge level of the entire system is less than 3 pC, and at 80 percent of rated voltage, it is less than 1.5 pC.
