The Impulse current generator is a specialized pulse current testing device that can generate high-intensity pulse currents up to 200 kiloamperes (kA). It is widely used in lightning protection and lightning simulation testing in power equipment manufacturing plants, railway communication systems, military research institutes, universities, and meteorological departments. This device is a key tool for conducting standard lightning impulse tests on transformers, reactors, high-voltage thyristor valves (SVC), power cables, and other high-voltage insulation components.

2.Maximum charging voltage: 50kVDC±10%, maximum charging current 0.5A, actual charging voltage is not higher than 45kV

3.Pulse capacitor : 26kV/60μF

4.Number of capacitors: 16 sets, total pulse energy 300kJ

5.Each group of capacitors is mounted on a fixed bracket for stable positioning, and multiple capacitors can be operated in parallel and freely combined.

6.Trigger gap voltage range: 1kV~50kV;

7.Duration of use: under 100% rating, charge and discharge once every 120s, and can work continuously.

8.The discharge gap is controlled synchronously by tungsten copper gap, and the control accuracy is ± within 0.5mm;
