The HMCJ-400kV/20kJ lightning impulse generator is used to generate impulse voltage waves for testing the insulation performance of power equipment against atmospheric and operational overvoltages. It can generate standard lightning impulse voltage waveforms (1.2/50 μs), operational impulse voltage waveforms, and user-specified non-standard impulse voltage waveforms (including steep-front waves).
