The HMCJ-1600kV/160kJ impulse voltage generator is suitable for conducting standard lightning impulse voltage tests-including full-wave, operating wave, and truncated wave impulse voltage tests-on test specimens such as air gaps, suspension glass insulators, composite insulators, and bushings.

Product Details

1) The main structure adopts a German HighVolt H-type four-column design, featuring a steel frame with four flanges that parallels two externally mounted capacitors to form a stable first-level assembly. The main equipment comprises eight levels arranged in a stacked tower configuration, allowing for easy disassembly, inspection, and maintenance while ensuring overall structural stability.
2) The main body employs a bilaterally symmetrical constant-current charging method with constant-current voltage regulation. Voltage is continuously adjustable from zero to the set value. The charging power supply automatically shuts off during the instantaneous ignition discharge, safeguarding the charging transformer and voltage regulation system. The rectifier silicon stack is housed within an oil-immersed transformer, forming an integrated charging and rectification unit that reduces the effective spatial dimensions. Each level has a rated voltage of 200kV;
3) The main body features an 8-level tower-type insulator support structure. Each level incorporates two MWF100kV-2.0µF iron-cased oil-immersed pulse capacitors, charging resistors, leading edge resistors, trailing edge resistors, and ignition spark gaps. When generating lightning waves, appropriate leading edge resistors, trailing edge resistors, and levels are selected;
4) Each pulse capacitor is rated at 2.00.05F, 100kV, with composite film oil-immersed insulation. The inherent inductance is 0.2H, and the capacitor lead bushings can withstand a vertical tensile force of 15kg.
