The HM6020A Zinc Oxide Surge Arrester Resistive Current Tester is a specialised instrument for field and laboratory testing of various electrical parameters of surge arresters. It is widely used for on-site online monitoring (live testing) of zinc oxide surge arresters and laboratory testing (during power outage maintenance).

1. Features resistive current fundamental peak output capability.
2. Incorporates non-volatile memory.
3. Equipped with a USB interface for storing arbitrary sets of test records.
4. Voltage test leads feature fuse protection against incorrect wiring; voltage and current connectors incorporate anti-misinsertion functionality.
5. The instrument incorporates a wireless transmission module for wireless voltage acquisition, enabling wireless measurement in conjunction with the host unit.
6. The instrument contains a high-precision real-time clock for date and time calibration.
7. The instrument houses a high-speed miniature thermal printer for printing measurement data.
8. The instrument includes a rechargeable battery providing 6 hours of continuous operation, a calendar clock, power-off storage, USB storage, and a miniature printer.
9. Wireless transmission distance is extensive, with line-of-sight coverage of no less than 1000 metres (theoretically up to 2500 metres).
10. The wired test voltage extension cable comprises a 45-metre, 3-core shielded cable.
