Goldhome's Technical Team Successfully Completes On-Site Testing of the 250KVA-500KV Power Frequency Withstand Voltage Test System
Recently, the technical team from Wuhan Goldhome Hipot Electrical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Goldhome") traveled to the customer's project site and successfully completed the on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of the HM250KVA-500KV power-frequency withstand voltage test system. The successful delivery of this project marks another significant practical achievement for Goldhome in the field of ultra-high-voltage power-frequency withstand voltage testing.
The 250KVA-500KV Power Frequency Withstand Voltage Test System is one of Goldhome's core products developed in-house. The system has a rated capacity of 250 kVA, a maximum output voltage of 500 kV, and is powered by a single-phase 380 V, 50 Hz input with a rated current of 0.5 A. The system outputs a sine wave, with waveform distortion controlled within 2%. This system serves as essential testing equipment for a wide range of users, including power plants, power supply and distribution systems, and research institutions. It is used to conduct insulation strength tests on various electrical products, equipment, and insulating materials under specified voltages to evaluate product insulation levels, identify insulation defects in test specimens, and assess their ability to withstand overvoltages. It is indispensable testing equipment for power maintenance in sectors such as power supply enterprises, large factories, metallurgical plants, power stations, and railways.

In terms of product characteristics, this complete system offers four core advantages: First, it features high-quality materials, reliable performance, and excellent stability; second, its wiring is simple and intuitive, with user-friendly operation suitable for a wide range of application scenarios; third, it employs a combination of hardware and software anti-interference technology, ensuring stable performance and strong resistance to interference; and fourth, it offers high insulation reliability and an aesthetically pleasing design. The equipment consists of core components such as a high-voltage generator, voltage regulator, current limiter, timer, voltmeter, and ammeter. These functional modules work in concert to ensure the safe generation, precise regulation, and reliable measurement of voltage.

At the project site, the Goldhome technical team first conducted a comprehensive survey of the testing environment and engaged in in-depth discussions with the client's technical lead regarding details such as equipment layout, power supply connection, safety precautions, and testing procedures. Subsequently, on-site testing officially began-the technical team strictly followed standardized procedures to sequentially complete on-site equipment wiring and system integration testing. During the power-frequency withstand voltage test, engineers selected typical on-site high-voltage electrical equipment as test specimens and completed the withstand voltage test in accordance with relevant standards. Throughout the testing process, all performance indicators met design requirements, with core parameters such as voltage output stability and protection response speed demonstrating excellent performance; all test items passed on the first attempt.
After the testing concluded, Goldhome's technical engineers conducted comprehensive operational training for the client's technical staff. The training covered explanations of the equipment's operating principles, demonstrations of operating procedures, key points for daily maintenance, and methods for troubleshooting common issues. The engineers placed special emphasis on pre-test safety checks-including verifying that the test subject was completely disconnected from the power grid and other external power sources and had undergone proper discharge procedures-as well as standard operating procedures during use. The client highly praised the Goldhome team's professionalism and efficient service, noting that the commissioning of this HM250KVA-500KV power-frequency withstand voltage test system will effectively enhance the company's ability to test the insulation performance of ultra-high-voltage electrical equipment and improve its safety standards.
