Goldhome Welcomes U.S. Clients for On-Site Inspection of Its Signature High-Current Generators and Impulse Voltage Generators

On June 12, 2026, Wuhan Goldhome Hipot Electrical Co., Ltd. welcomed an important delegation of clients from the United States. The purpose of the visit was to allow the clients to conduct an on-site inspection of the company's two signature devices-the high-current generator and the impulse voltage generator, both independently developed-and to gain an in-depth understanding of Goldhome's technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities in the field of high-voltage, high-current testing. This visit further strengthened Goldhome's cooperative relationship with clients in the North American market.

That morning, the U.S. client delegation arrived at Goldhome's headquarters in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company's general manager personally welcomed the delegation, and a joint team comprising representatives from the International Trade Department, the R&D Center, and the Manufacturing Department accompanied them throughout the visit. At the welcome ceremony, company representatives provided the clients with a detailed overview of Goldhome's development history and technological expertise-founded in 2008, the company has grown into a national high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales, and service. The company operates a modern production facility spanning over 10,000 square meters and employs a 51-member professional technical team, having accumulated more than two decades of R&D and manufacturing experience in the field of high-voltage testing equipment. Currently, the company holds 35 patents (including 6 invention patents) and more than 10 software copyrights. Its products have been exported to over 30 countries and regions, including Germany, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and Indonesia, with overseas revenue accounting for 30% of total sales.

Following this, the client delegation toured the company's R&D center, product showroom, and high-voltage testing hall. The focus of this visit was to examine two of Goldhome's signature devices: the high-current generator and the impulse voltage generator.

High-Current Generator: Core Testing Equipment for Simulating Fault Currents

The high-current generator is one of Goldhome's established product lines. It is primarily used to simulate short-circuit fault currents in power systems and to conduct thermal and dynamic stability tests on circuit breakers, transformers, busbars, and switchgear. The equipment employs advanced current-boosting transformers and automatic voltage regulation technology, with output currents ranging from hundreds of amperes to tens of thousands of amperes. It offers advantages such as smooth current rise, low harmonic distortion, and sensitive overcurrent protection. Goldhome has successfully delivered products such as 15,000A DC high-current generators and 7,500A high-current generators to numerous countries worldwide. In the test hall, technical engineers demonstrated the equipment's operating procedures and performance to customers on-site, who highly praised the equipment's stability in high-current output and temperature rise control.

Impulse Voltage Generator: A Flagship Product for Simulating Lightning Overvoltages

The surge voltage generator is one of Goldhome's flagship products, primarily used to simulate natural lightning overvoltages and operational overvoltages to evaluate the insulation performance of high-voltage electrical equipment such as power transformers, surge arresters, and insulators. The equipment employs Goldhome's proprietary Marx multi-stage series circuit technology, enabling the precise reproduction of standard lightning full-wave, truncated-wave, and operational surge waveforms. The product series covers multiple voltage levels ranging from 400 kV to 1,200 kV. In the high-voltage testing area, engineers demonstrated the surge voltage generator's discharge capabilities and the waveform acquisition and analysis process to the clients, who expressed high recognition of the company's technical expertise in this field.

During the visit, the client delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the technical specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality control systems for Goldhome's high-current generators and impulse voltage generators. Both parties also engaged in in-depth discussions regarding demand trends, technical standards, and future collaboration opportunities for power testing equipment in the North American market. The client delegation highly praised Goldhome's technical capabilities and production scale, noting that Goldhome possesses mature technology and a comprehensive product line in the field of high-current and impulse testing equipment, and is well-equipped to serve the high-end North American market.
