Mexican clients visited Goldhome to inspect high-voltage power equipment, jointly exploring new avenues for development.

Recently, a delegation of senior representatives from Mexico's power industry visited Wuhan Goldhome Hipot Electrical Co., Ltd. for an inspection and exchange. The visit focused on examining the company's core specialised products, including high-voltage series resonant equipment, GTU devices for GIS installations, and lightning impulse testing equipment. The delegation was hosted throughout by the head of Goldhome Hipot's International Trade Department, the Technical Director, and the R&D team. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding product technical compatibility, market application scenarios, and future cooperation models, laying a solid foundation for collaboration in the field of high-voltage power equipment between China and Mexico.

At the high-voltage series resonant equipment display area, technical personnel introduced the core advantages of Goldhome Hipot's HMCXZ series variable-frequency series resonant test apparatus. Developed using patented technology, this product employs an excitation transformer to stimulate the resonant circuit. It achieves efficient testing through precise output frequency adjustment, with waveform distortion below 3%. Fibre-optic control ensures complete isolation between high and low-voltage circuits, while integrated multiple safety protection mechanisms enable partial discharge levels to be controlled within a precise range of ≤5 pC. Suitable for AC withstand voltage testing of high-capacity equipment such as 6kV-500kV power transformers, GIS, and high-voltage cables, it features a compact design and adaptability. Partial discharge levels can be precisely controlled within ≤5 pC. Suitable for AC withstand voltage testing of high-capacity equipment such as 6kV-500kV power transformers, GIS, and high-voltage cables, its compact size, strong adaptability, and reliable safety features perfectly address the complex testing requirements of Mexico's industrial grid. During the site visit, the client inquired about the equipment's adaptability across different voltage levels. The technical team, considering the fragmented voltage standards prevalent in Mexico's grid, proposed a tailored solution that garnered high recognition from the client.

Within the GIS and GTU equipment exhibition area, clients focused on examining Goldhome Hipot's partial discharge-free GIS testing system and vehicle-mounted GTU testing apparatus. As one of the company's core advantage products, the GIS partial discharge-free testing system achieves a partial discharge level ≤1 pC. Utilising SF6 gas insulation technology and leveraging over 30 years of ultra-high voltage partial discharge-free testing apparatus production expertise from wholly-owned subsidiary Wuhan San Gao Electric, its performance metrics reach advanced domestic standards. The 1500kVA/500kV mobile-mounted zero-DET GTU test unit creates a high-precision testing environment that flexibly adapts to on-site requirements. This effectively addresses Mexico's challenges of dispersed industrial sites and complex testing conditions, providing efficient and convenient inspection solutions for local power engineering projects. Clients thoroughly examined the equipment's operational procedures, maintenance costs, and compliance standards, expressing keen interest in the products' intelligent capabilities and potential for local adaptation.

During the lightning impulse equipment demonstration, Goldhome Hipot's 1800kV/180kJ lightning impulse voltage generator took centre stage. This apparatus precisely simulates lightning impulse waves, steep transients, and switching overvoltages to test the surge resistance of high-voltage equipment such as surge arresters, insulators, and transformers. With a test voltage range spanning tens of kilovolts to several megavolts, it fully meets Mexico's stringent requirements for equipment resilience against extreme weather conditions. Through on-site simulated tests, technicians vividly demonstrated the equipment's testing precision and stability. Clients engaged in in-depth discussions with the technical team regarding operational stability under complex climatic conditions such as high temperatures and heavy rainfall, resulting in multiple technical agreements being reached.
