Malaysian Client's High-Voltage Shielded Chamber Successfully Completed; Full Set of Goldhome High-End Testing Equipment Installed and Put into Operation
The professional high-voltage electromagnetic shielded test laboratory for a Malaysian client has been successfully completed. Concurrently, a full suite of Goldhome high-end high-voltage testing equipment has been installed and commissioned on-site. This includes three key pieces of equipment: lightning impulse test equipment, a gas-insulated test transformer with partial discharge protection, and a high-voltage series resonance test system. All are now fully operational, marking the official establishment of a high-standard high-voltage testing laboratory with comprehensive testing capabilities.

The newly constructed high-voltage shielded room features a professional electromagnetic shielding structure with excellent shielding performance. It effectively isolates external electromagnetic interference, providing a clean and stable testing environment for partial discharge detection, lightning impulse testing, and AC withstand voltage testing. Fully compliant with IEC and national high-voltage testing standards, it serves as the core infrastructure for power equipment type testing, factory quality inspection, and insulation performance research.
The shielded room is equipped with three sets of Goldhome core high-voltage equipment, each serving a distinct purpose and complementing one another to establish a comprehensive, one-stop testing capability:
Lightning impulse equipment: Specially designed to simulate lightning impulse voltage waveforms, it accurately evaluates the insulation withstand performance of high-voltage electrical equipment, meeting the requirements for full-wave and clipped-wave lightning impulse testing of various switches, transformers, and insulators.
Partial Discharge-Free Gas-Insulated Test Equipment: Utilizing an SF6 gas-insulated structure, this equipment features extremely low intrinsic partial discharge levels, is oil-free and maintenance-free, and can precisely detect minute insulation defects in test specimens within the shielded room environment. It is suitable for high-precision partial discharge detection and power frequency withstand voltage testing.
Series Resonance Test System: Based on the principle of variable-frequency resonance, this system is designed for AC withstand voltage testing of high-capacitance test specimens. It offers advantages such as low power consumption, pure waveforms, energy efficiency, and multiple safety protections, making it suitable for long-duration withstand voltage tests on high-voltage cables, GIS, and switchgear assemblies.
Upon delivery of the equipment, the Goldhome technical team strictly adhered to overseas project standards to complete the shielded room layout planning, equipment installation, wiring, system integration testing, and multi-condition simulation tests. The entire system operates stably in the shielded environment, with smooth voltage ramp-up, precise data acquisition, and strong interference resistance. All technical specifications met the required standards on the first attempt, perfectly aligning with the client's high-standard laboratory construction requirements.
Concurrently, technical personnel conducted systematic hands-on training for the client's team, covering equipment operation procedures, test parameter configuration, proper use of the shielded room, safety protocols, and routine maintenance, ensuring the client can independently conduct various high-voltage testing and inspection tasks.
