On March 11, 2025, Goldhome shipped its independently developed HMGTU 400kVA/800kV power-frequency, partial-discharge-free high-voltage test system to Wuhan.
On March 11, 2025, the Goldhome factory grounds were bustling with activity yet orderly. A set of HMGTU-400kVA/800kV power-frequency, partial-discharge-free high-voltage test systems-entirely independently researched, designed, and manufactured by the company-successfully completed all factory tests and partial-discharge inspections, entering the final stage of packaging and shipment. Workers collaborated efficiently, carrying out processes such as shock-proof reinforcement of precision instruments, encapsulation of metal shielding layers, and moisture-proof sealing, creating a scene of intense yet orderly activity. A heavy-duty truck fully loaded with the equipment is about to leave the premises, heading to the customer's site in Wuhan, Hubei.

The technical supervisor closely monitored the packing process throughout, meticulously verifying the shipping list and protective measures to ensure that this high-voltage testing equipment-which meets extremely stringent partial discharge standards-remains completely safe during the long-distance transport.
Product Advantages: Advanced Partial Discharge-Free Technology, Enabling Precise High-Voltage Testing
The HMGTU-400kVA/800kV power-frequency partial discharge-free high-voltage test system shipped this time is one of Goldhome's flagship products in the high-voltage testing equipment sector, featuring the following core advantages:
- Ultra-high voltage rating: With a rated capacity of 400kVA and a maximum test voltage of 800kV, it meets the power frequency withstand voltage and partial discharge testing requirements for 110kV, 220kV, and even 500kV power equipment.
- Extremely Low Partial Discharge Levels: Adopting advanced partial discharge-free design principles and optimizing electric field structures and insulation coordination, the system's total partial discharge level is ≤5 pC. This fully complies with the requirements of IEC and GB/T standards for high-precision partial discharge testing, making it suitable for type testing and factory acceptance testing of core equipment such as GIS, transformers, and cables.
- Integrated Power Frequency Withstand and Partial Discharge Measurement: The complete system integrates a partial discharge-free test transformer, voltage regulation control unit, and measurement protection system, offering user-friendly operation and precise data, significantly enhancing testing efficiency and safety.
- Highly Reliable Structure: Key insulation components are manufactured in-house, and the metal housing shields against interference, providing excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference and long-term operational stability.
- Efficient Order Fulfillment: From Order to Shipment, Demonstrating Goldhome's Production Capacity and Execution Capabilities

This 800kV-class EDL-free test system is technically complex and highly customized, with stringent requirements for insulation materials, winding processes, EDL control, and final assembly and commissioning. From confirming customer requirements, designing solutions, scheduling material production, and assembly and debugging to final factory acceptance, Goldhome leveraged its mature flexible production system and comprehensive supply chain resources to complete the entire manufacturing process in less than 45 days. The system passed the third-party-witnessed partial discharge test on the first attempt and was delivered on time.

"The 800kV power-frequency partial discharge-free testing system imposes extremely stringent requirements on electric field distribution, partial discharge suppression, and assembly cleanliness," stated Goldhome's production manager. "Our technical team and production crew strictly controlled every step of the process, ultimately limiting the partial discharge level to within 3 pC-exceeding the contractual specifications. This once again demonstrates Goldhome's mass production capabilities and technical expertise in the field of high-end partial discharge-free testing equipment."
