 Calibration Instructions

 

This instrument adopts an advanced and unique SCAN working principle. Accurate measurement can be achieved through single-point calibration.

(1) Gas Preparation:Purchase a standard gas mixture of SF6 and air with an SF6 concentration of 500 ppm (other concentrations are also acceptable, but a mixture of approximately 500 ppm is recommended).

(2) Calibration:Connect the calibration gas cylinder to a pressure reducing valve, then attach the sampling tube (sampling tube is not included with this device).Adjust the outlet flow pressure on the pressure reducing valve to 0.5 MPa, then set the flow valve on the sampling tube to 0.5 L/min.Turn on the instrument. After the countdown is completed, aim the handheld probe at or near the gas outlet of the sampling tube.Press the OK button on the probe to enter the main menu as follows:

Calibration

Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select Calibration, then press OK to enter the calibration menu as shown below:

SF6: 0000.0 ppm

V: ***. mV

The value after SF6 indicates the target concentration to be calibrated.

The value after V indicates the voltage value collected by the sensor.

When the reading of V becomes stable, use the UP, DOWN, LEFT, and RIGHT buttons to modify the SF6 value.If the calibration gas is 500 ppm, enter 500 and press the OK button on the probe.When OK appears on the bottom line, calibration is successful.Press the EXIT button twice to finish calibration.

The Zero Reset function is mainly used to clear the inherent data in the chip during the first instrument calibration.Do not use it frequently unless the zero-point data is unstable.
