The HM3020L gas leak detector, also known as an SF6 gas quantitative leak detector, is used for detecting leaks in SF6 gas circuit breakers. Designed based on feedback from numerous users and tailored to the specific conditions of my country's power system, the HM3020L overcomes the shortcomings of foreign products while incorporating their advantages.  Usage Methods

 

1. Plug in the power supply and turn on the "Power Switch." You will hear the motor starting up.

2. After the vacuum pump has been running for 10 minutes (15-20 minutes if the ambient temperature is below 7℃), turn on the "Detection Switch." If a faint, dark purple excitation light (i.e., "ignition") can be seen in the window above the probe, and the baseline value on the lower side of the LCD screen is close to the value marked on the instrument's nozzle, then you can begin measurement. (The large value in the middle of the display after power-on is the real-time SF6 gas concentration; no table needs to be consulted. The smaller value below is the baseline value, which is only used as a reference for instrument stability.)

3. If "ignition" does not occur, you can block the air inlet of the probe (needle valve) with your finger to increase the vacuum level of the vacuum system. If "ignition" still does not occur within 10 seconds after blocking the probe, wait 10 minutes and then block the probe again for 10 seconds; otherwise, you may damage the relevant electronic components. 4. The instrument will self-calibrate to zero within 60 seconds of power-on. If zero is not obtained within 60 seconds, hold the probe in the air and press the "Confirm" button to zero.

5. After 10 minutes, once the instrument reaches a certain vacuum level and the baseline value stabilizes, move the probe to the area being tested. If there is a gas leak, the reading on the LCD screen will increase, displaying the volumetric concentration.

6. Press the "product-50-50" button to set the alarm point. When the measured volumetric concentration exceeds the alarm point, the instrument will emit a beeping alarm sound.
