The HM5003 Transformer Capacity  Characteristic Tester is a new instrument developed by our R&D team specifically to address the problem of unscrupulous electricity users evading basic electricity fees and illegally increasing capacity. It is a high-precision instrument specifically designed for measuring transformer capacity and characteristic parameters. This product features a large-screen color LCD display with Chinese language display, simple and quick menu-driven operation, and a user-friendly interface. The instrument has a built-in high-efficiency rechargeable battery, allowing it to operate without an external power supply. A single full charge of the battery can continuously measure more than 100 transformers. Furthermore, the instrument provides a three-phase precision 50Hz sine wave AC test power supply, eliminating the need for external three-phase test power supplies, voltage regulators, current boosters, and other auxiliary equipment when measuring transformer capacity and load losses, thus greatly improving your work efficiency.

Wiring method

 

Wiring method for measuring the short-circuit loss of a single-phase transformer with phase power supply
The wiring method for measuring no-load losses of a single-phase transformer is essentially the same as that for a single-phase power supply. Please refer to Figures 1, 2, and 3. The only difference is that during short-circuit loss testing, the high-voltage side is typically the test terminal, while the low-voltage side is the non-test terminal. Additionally, the non-test terminal requires manual shorting.
