Brazilian Delegation Visits Goldhomefor In-Depth Inspection of HMGTU-1200kVA/600kV GIS Test System
Recently, a delegation representing Brazil's power industry visited Goldhomefor an inspection tour. The company's General Manager, accompanied by the technical team, warmly received the distinguished visitors and escorted them on a tour of the production workshops, R&D centre, and high-voltage testing hall. During the visit, Goldhomes independently developed HMGTU-1200kVA/600kV gas-insulated, partial discharge-free switchgear test apparatus became the focal point of the delegation's attention throughout. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the product's technical principles, operational procedures, and application scenarios.
The delegation first scrutinised the test system's exterior. The entire system employs a tank-type GIS structural design, integrating all high-voltage testing components-including the high-voltage step-up transformer, high-voltage measurement equipment, high-voltage coupling capacitors, and high-voltage instrument transformers-within a fully sealed, shielded enclosure. The engineer explained: 'The most significant feature of this apparatus is its fully sealed, integrated design – all externally accessible components are at earth potential, eliminating the risk of human contact with high voltage. It stands as one of the safest high-voltage testing devices currently available.'
The client delegation began by conducting a thorough visual inspection of the test system's exterior. The entire system adopts a tank-type GIS structural design, integrating high-voltage components required for testing-such as high-voltage step-up transformers, high-voltage measurement equipment, high-voltage coupling capacitors, and high-voltage instrument transformers-within a fully sealed, shielded enclosure. An engineer explained: 'The most significant feature of this apparatus is its fully sealed, integrated design-all externally accessible components are at earth potential, eliminating the risk of human contact with high voltage. It is currently one of the safest high-voltage testing devices available.'

During the inspection, the client delegation also toured Goldhomes manufacturing workshops and R&D laboratories. The orderly production lines and rigorous quality control processes left a profound impression on the visitors.
As a national high-tech enterprise, Goldhomehas specialised in the high-voltage testing sector since its establishment in 2008. Its facilities span over 10,000 square metres, with the company holding 45 patented technologies and more than 10 software copyrights. In 2021, the company completed a full acquisition of Wuhan Sanhao Electric, which possesses over 30 years of experience in manufacturing UHV partial discharge-free testing equipment and specialises in R&D and production of SF6 gas partial discharge-free high-voltage testing devices. This acquisition further enhanced Goldhomes technical expertise in partial discharge-free testing. The company maintains close collaboration with the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute and the School of Electrical Engineering at Wuhan University to continuously drive product innovation.

Currently, Goldhomes products are extensively deployed in key projects for State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid, and major power generation groups. They are also exported to over twenty countries and regions across Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. In recent years, the company has completed the commissioning of Thailand's GIS system and welcomed visits from clients in Argentina, Pakistan, Malaysia, and other nations, accelerating its internationalisation strategy.
