GOLDHOME's 6000 kVA–600 kV Partial Discharge-Free Variable-Frequency Series Resonance System Successfully Completes Field Testing in Israel

Recently, the HMCXZ(MW)6000kVA-600kV partial discharge-free and magnetic leakage-free variable-frequency series resonance test system exported by Goldhome to Israel successfully completed a full set of handover tests at the construction site of a new ultra-high-voltage substation there, passing the joint acceptance inspection by the owner and a third-party supervising agency on the first attempt. All performance indicators of the equipment fully met and exceeded international IEC standards, marking Goldhome's successful entry into the high-end power testing market in the Middle East with its domestically produced, high-end ultra-high-voltage testing equipment, thereby breaking the long-standing monopoly held by European and American brands.

This project supports acceptance withstand voltage and partial discharge testing for local Israeli 220 kV and 400 kV high-voltage main transformers, GIS switchgear, and ultra-long high-voltage cables. The local power grid's on-site electromagnetic environment is complex, and testing standards are stringent. Traditional testing equipment generally suffers from issues such as significant magnetic leakage interference, elevated background partial discharge levels, high data misinterpretation rates, and excessive equipment temperature rise. As a result, the local market has long relied on imported high-end testing equipment, which comes with high operating and maintenance costs. To address these challenging on-site conditions, Goldhome delivered a custom-designed, flagship-level series resonance test system featuring zero magnetic leakage and ultra-low partial discharge, precisely addressing the core pain points of the overseas high-voltage testing industry.

The on-site testing was conducted in strict accordance with International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. Featuring a modular integrated design, this Goldhome system is easy to disassemble and assemble, with high assembly efficiency, significantly shortening the on-site construction cycle. During testing, the system can quickly and automatically lock onto the resonance point, outputting a pure sine wave throughout the process with an extremely low waveform distortion rate. Leveraging Goldhome's proprietary core technology-the magnetic-leakage-free shielded reactor-the equipment thoroughly reduces stray electromagnetic interference. It maintains stable temperature rise during prolonged full-voltage operation, ensuring smooth and reliable performance throughout.

The entire system features ultra-low background partial discharge levels, far lower than those of comparable imported equipment, enabling precise detection of minute internal insulation defects and effectively preventing false positives or missed detections in insulation testing. Additionally, the equipment features a high-quality resonant circuit that enables a small-capacity construction power supply to drive a large-capacity high-voltage output, making it perfectly suited for construction sites with limited power availability. Equipped with multiple intelligent protection features-including overvoltage, overcurrent, overheat, and instantaneous flashover protection-the system rapidly detunes and limits current the moment a test specimen breaks down, ensuring no overvoltage surges occur throughout the process and providing comprehensive safety for both high-voltage equipment and test personnel.

Furthermore, Goldhome's equipment is equipped with a bilingual English intelligent operating system that supports automatic frequency sweeping and voltage adjustment, real-time data storage, and one-click export of test reports. It is highly adapted to overseas engineering practices and local power grid archiving standards, enabling continuous and stable on-site testing with excellent data performance, which earned high praise from the acceptance team. The client noted that the system's advantages-including zero magnetic leakage, high precision, and high stability-have completely resolved the numerous shortcomings of traditional imported equipment, resulting in superior overall performance.

The successful conclusion of this Israeli project marks a significant milestone for Goldhome's high-end power testing equipment as it deepens its presence in the Middle Eastern market. Moving forward, Goldhome will continue to refine its core technologies-magnetic leakage-free operation and ultra-low partial discharge-while further optimizing the international adaptability of its products. By providing high-quality, highly reliable domestically manufactured power testing equipment, Goldhome aims to empower global power grid infrastructure and further enhance the global reputation of China's high-end power equipment.
