Recently, Wuhan Goldhome Hipot Electrical Co., Ltd.'s independently developed and manufactured HMCJ-600kV/60kJ impulse voltage generator successfully passed on-site specialized acceptance by a South Korean client delegation at the company's high-voltage testing hall. Impulse voltage generators serve as core testing equipment for evaluating the insulation performance of power equipment against atmospheric overvoltages and switching overvoltages. They are widely used in reliability testing for transformers, instrument transformers, insulator strings, and other power equipment, with their performance stability and testing accuracy directly impacting the safe operation of power systems. The HMCJ-600kV/60kJ impulse voltage generator accepted in this project is a flagship product developed by Goldhome Hipot to meet the demands of the international high-end market. It integrates multiple proprietary core technologies and offers significant advantages such as low loop inductance, strong load capacity, convenient and rapid waveform adjustment, and reliable synchronization performance. Utilizing constant-current charging automatic control technology, it features high automation and excellent anti-interference capabilities. It can precisely generate full-wave ±1.2/50μS standard lightning impulse voltage and non-standard impulse voltage waves specified by customers, fully meeting the stringent requirements for testing the insulation performance of power equipment.
Under the client's full observation, test personnel operated the equipment to continuously complete multiple rounds of positive and negative polarity impulse voltage tests. Test data confirmed precise and controllable peak output voltages, with critical waveform parameters-including rise time and half-peak time-meeting all standard requirements. The testing process proceeded without anomalies, and the test report is fully traceable. Our engineers provided detailed, professional answers to all technical queries raised by the client.
