HM306 Zinc Oxide Arrester Resistive Current Tester Wiring and Setting Parameter Video
Product Overview

The HM6020A Zinc Oxide Surge Arrester Resistive Current Tester is a specialized instrument designed for on-site and laboratory testing of various electrical parameters of surge arresters. It is primarily used for on-site, online monitoring (live testing) of zinc oxide surge arresters and for laboratory testing (during power-off maintenance).

Precautions
1. Follow the safety procedures for high-voltage testing. Connect the wires and operate the instrument according to the instruction manual.
2. Ensure the instrument is properly grounded before turning it on.
3. Turn on the power first, then connect the signal cables; this sequence must not be reversed.
4. Exercise extreme caution when connecting the voltage test leads to avoid short-circuiting the PT due to improper handling.
Do not substitute the 200mA fuse on the voltage lead with a fuse of a different rating or with a wire.
5. Do not disconnect the ground wire or test leads during testing.
6. The instrument is intended only for low-voltage, low-current testing; all leads must be kept away from high voltages.
7. Turn off the power switch when storing the instrument; failing to do so may damage the battery.
8. If the instrument is not used for an extended period, charge it once every 3 to 4 months to extend battery life (the battery is covered by a one-year warranty).
9. Since wireless transmission uses public frequency bands, factors such as geographical conditions and co-channel interference may result in reduced transmission range or failure to transmit.
10. If the instrument malfunctions, it will not damage the test specimen. Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the instrument yourself without prior authorization from our company; please contact our after-sales service department.
