Transformer Ratio Tester For Rectifier & Z-Type Transformer

Transformer Ratio Tester For Rectifier & Z-Type Transformer

Measuring the turns ratio of transformers using a ratio bridge involves a cumbersome process and has a narrow measurement range, making it unsuitable for the fast-paced, high-efficiency demands of modern testing. To address this, our company has developed a new generation of fully automatic turns ratio and tap position testers using modern electronic technology. These devices are compact, lightweight, highly accurate, and offer excellent stability. They feature a large-screen Chinese character display and menu-driven operation, providing a user-friendly interface.

Both the turns ratio and tap position can be measured in a single test. This instrument is the ideal testing solution for the power industry.

Precautious

1. Fuse 1 is rated at 2A, and Fuse 2 is rated at 0.5A. If the test leads short-circuit or the high- and low-voltage terminals are reversed, the fuses will blow. If a measurement is attempted after a fuse has blown, the display will show "Measuring, please wait!" and then stop. Please turn off the power, replace the fuse with one of the same rating, and retest.

2. Ensure that all connections are secure. The instrument must be properly grounded!

3. The instrument should be operated away from strong electric fields, strong magnetic fields, and high-frequency equipment. The power supply should have as little interference as possible; it is recommended to use a lighting circuit. If power interference remains significant, the instrument can be powered by an AC power conditioner. An AC power conditioner with a capacity of 200VA or higher is sufficient.

4. If the LCD display becomes distorted, none of the buttons respond, or the measured value differs significantly from the actual value while the instrument is in operation, press the reset button or turn off the power, then restart the operation.

5. If the display shows no characters or the colors are very faint, adjust the brightness potentiometer to an appropriate setting.

The brightness potentiometer is a multi-turn potentiometer with 10 turns!

6. Store the instrument in a dry, well-ventilated area. If the instrument has not been used for an extended period or is stored in a humid environment, allow for an extended warm-up time before use to remove moisture.

7. Use the communication port during debugging.
