The HMCXZW-100kW is a 100 kVA partial discharge free variable frequency power supply for high voltage test laboratories and transformer test benches. It converts a standard 3-phase 380 V mains supply into a clean, continuously adjustable single-phase output of 0-800 V, 0-125 A, 45-300 Hz, with voltage and frequency stability of ±1% and ±0.1% respectively.
Unlike a standard frequency converter, this unit is built for partial discharge testing: its own background discharge is held below 10 pC, the output waveform is a low distortion sine wave (THD ≤2% at full scale on resistive load), and no high frequency switching noise is injected into the measuring circuit. That makes it suitable not only for induced voltage withstand tests but also for PD measurement on transformers, bushings, instrument transformers and cable accessories.
The front panel uses a 15.6 inch color LCD touch screen with dedicated windows for frequency, current, voltage, power, power factor, running time and protection thresholds. Operation is by direct touch entry plus start / stop / input close / output close buttons, and unit parameters are retained after power off.
