On July 4, 2025, Goldhome's independently developed 400kV impulse voltage generator system was officially loaded onto a truck and shipped to Xi'an.
On July 4, 2025, the Goldhome factory grounds were bustling with activity yet remained orderly. A complete set of 400kV impulse voltage generators, entirely independently researched, designed, and manufactured by the company, successfully completed all factory tests and waveform calibration, entering the final stage of packaging and shipment. Workers collaborated efficiently, carrying out tasks such as seismic reinforcement of the main tower, independent packaging of capacitor units, and protection of control cables, creating a scene of intense yet orderly activity. A heavy-duty truck fully loaded with equipment was about to leave the premises, heading to the customer's site in Xi'an, Shaanxi.

The technical supervisor closely monitored the packing process throughout, meticulously verifying the shipping list and protective measures to ensure the safe and undamaged transport of this high-voltage impulse test equipment over the long journey.
Product Advantages: Standard Lightning Impulse, Precisely Supporting Insulation Coordination Tests
The 400kV impulse voltage generator shipped this time is Goldhome's flagship product in the high-voltage impulse testing field, offering the following outstanding advantages:
- Standard Impulse Waveform: Capable of generating a 1.2/50µs standard lightning impulse voltage with a peak of 400kV, meeting the requirements for lightning impulse withstand voltage testing and insulation coordination studies for 10kV, 35kV, and certain 110kV-class power equipment.
- High-Efficiency Generator Unit: Utilizes a Marx multiplier circuit structure with low-inductance, high-voltage pulse capacitors for discharge. Adjustable leading and trailing edge resistors ensure a smooth waveform with minimal oscillation, complying with IEC 60060 and GB/T 16927 standards.
- Intelligent Control System: Equipped with a fully automatic industrial control system, it features charging voltage setting, automatic polarity switching, multiple consecutive discharges, waveform acquisition, and analysis functions, supporting data storage and report generation.
- Multiple Safety Protections: Features protection mechanisms such as overcurrent, overvoltage, ground interlock, and emergency shutdown. The discharge circuit adopts a sealed design to ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
- Packaging Process: Meticulous Protection Ensuring Zero-Risk Long-Distance Transport
- Given the large size and precision components of 400kV surge protection equipment, Goldhome has implemented a high-standard packaging solution:
- Main Tower Frame: A steel-reinforced frame with cushioning pads is used. The entire unit is hoisted into a custom-made wooden crate, filled with shock-absorbing material on all sides, and fitted with shock-absorbing wooden blocks at the bottom.
- Capacitor Units: Each capacitor is individually wrapped in anti-static foam. Residual charge is discharged before packing, and the outer boxes are labeled with "High-Voltage Component" and "Shock-Resistant" markings.
- Control and Measurement Systems: Precision instruments such as control cabinets, oscilloscopes, and voltage dividers are protected with a dual-layer system of bubble wrap and moisture-proof bags. They are packed in separate boxes with desiccants added.
- On-site Loading Supervision: Quality inspectors document the entire process with photographs and verify the packing list to ensure no components (discharge spark gaps, resistor assemblies, connection cables) are omitted.
Efficient Fulfillment: From Order to Shipment, Demonstrating Goldhome's Production Capacity and Execution Capabilities
This 400kV impulse voltage generator is a customized high-voltage testing device involving critical technical processes such as front-end and rear-end resistance matching, discharge gap debugging, and overall waveform calibration. From confirming customer requirements, designing solutions, scheduling material production, and assembly and debugging to final factory acceptance, Goldhome leveraged its mature flexible production system and comprehensive supply chain resources to complete the entire manufacturing and debugging process in less than 30 days. The unit passed the customer-commissioned third-party on-site waveform acceptance test on the first attempt and was delivered on time.

"The 400kV impulse generator imposes extremely stringent requirements on circuit inductance, resistance matching, and grounding shielding," stated Goldhome's production manager. "Our technical team worked closely with the production crew to ensure the final output waveform met the 1.2/50µs ±10% specification, with an impulse efficiency exceeding 90%-outperforming the contractual targets. This once again demonstrates Goldhome's mass production capabilities and technical expertise in the field of high-voltage impulse testing equipment."
