Product Introduction&Working principle

 

The HMCXZ-54kVA/54kV is designed for AC withstand voltage testing of power system equipment such as 10kV and 35kV cables, transformers, and insulators. It employs series resonance technology and consists of a frequency-converted power supply, an excitation transformer, a reactor, and a capacitive voltage divider.

Working Principle:

  • By inducing resonance between the resonant reactor and the capacitance of the test specimen, high voltage and high current are generated.
  • The power supply need only provide the active power portion of the system (approximately 1/Q of the test capacitance), significantly reducing the required power supply capacity.
  • Under resonant conditions, the output voltage waveform is sinusoidal, thereby avoiding harmonic interference.
