Core Components: 1 variable-frequency control power supply (power control cabinet), 1 excitation transformer, 2 high-voltage reactors, 1 set of capacitive voltage dividers, 1 set of insulating supports, and 1 set of test leads and accessories.

 

Core Operating Principle: Based on the principle of series resonance, this system generates high voltage and high current by utilizing the resonance between the resonant reactor and the capacitance of the test specimen.

 

 

Features and Functions

 

  • Low power supply capacity required: The power supply only needs to provide the active power portion, which is approximately 1/Q of the test capacity.
  • Lightweight and compact: Approximately 1/10 to 1/30 the size of conventional test equipment, with individual units weighing no more than 40 kg, making it convenient for on-site use.
  • High-quality output voltage waveform: Waveform distortion rate <1.0%, preventing harmonic peaks from causing accidental breakdown of the test specimen.
  • Prevents burn damage at the fault point caused by high short-circuit currents: Upon breakdown, the circuit immediately detunes, reducing the loop current to 1/Q of the normal test current.
  • No recovery overvoltage: The high voltage disappears immediately after breakdown, and the arc is instantly extinguished.
  • Multiple protection functions: Overvoltage, overcurrent, zero-voltage start, system detuning, high-voltage flashover faults, etc. Protection thresholds are adjustable, and flashover voltages are recorded.
  • Four operating modes: Fully automatic mode, manual mode, and automatic tuning with manual voltage ramping mode.
  • Data management: Test data can be stored, printed, or exported to a USB drive; data is managed using numerical identifiers.
  • Automatic frequency sweeping: The starting frequency and direction can be set; the color LCD displays resonance, voltage ramping, and timing curves during the scan.
  • DSP platform technology: Facilitates feature upgrades and provides a user-friendly human-machine interface.
