Goldhome Technical Personnel Travel to Chengdu to Complete On-Site Commissioning of GIS Simulated Fault Testing Equipment
On 6 June, Goldhome Hipot dispatched technical engineer Mr Sun to Chengdu to conduct on-site commissioning and operational training for a GIS simulated fault testing system procured by State Grid Chengdu Company. Following intensive and orderly work, the equipment passed on-site acceptance testing at the first attempt and has been formally deployed for substation simulation training and fault diagnosis projects.

The client, State Grid Chengdu Company, undertakes vital regional grid operation, maintenance, and technical training functions. Having recently procured Goldhome's independently developed GIS fault simulation test equipment for operational personnel simulation training and typical fault analysis, the client sought prompt commissioning to integrate the system into its monthly training schedule. Upon receiving this request, Goldhome immediately dispatched after-sales engineer Mr Sun to provide on-site technical support.
Engineer Sun explained on-site:
'GIS fault simulation demands exceptionally high waveform accuracy. Harmonic interference can distort simulated fault characteristics. We cannot rely solely on factory settings; targeted adjustments must be made according to the actual power quality at the site. Only then can we ensure the training outcomes are authentic and reliable.'
Following a full day of commissioning, demonstrations, and training, all functions of the GIS fault simulation test equipment were verified as operational, with precise fault waveform outputs. The equipment passed on-site acceptance testing at the first attempt. Director Li, the State Grid Chengdu project lead, signed the acceptance form on-site and commented:

'State Grid demands exceptionally high standards for training equipment-it must be technologically advanced yet reliable and user-friendly. Goldhome's system fully meets our expectations, and we are particularly impressed by their after-sales service. Upon delivery, their technicians proactively visited our site, not only resolving power supply compatibility issues but also training our personnel. Such responsiveness and technical support demonstrate Goldhome's professional calibre and strengthen our confidence in future collaboration.'
