The HMCJ 900 kV/90 kJ is a high-voltage impulse test system primarily used for lightning full-wave and switching impulse tests on power products such as high-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, and load switches rated at 10 kV to 110 kV and below, to evaluate the products' impulse insulation levels.   1. Oil-immersed charging transformer (8 kVA/50 kV); high-voltage diode stack reverse voltage ≥ 300 kV.
  2. Automatic polarity switching; charging voltage adjustability accuracy of 1%; stability ≤ ±1%.
  • Wave Shaping and Resistors
  1. The wavefront and wave-tail resistors feature a non-inductive plate-type structure with self-inductance ≤ 2.5 μH; they can be used in parallel and offer high versatility.
  2. Equipped with a complete set of wave-shaping resistors for lightning and switching waves.
  3. Low-damping capacitive voltage divider
  4. 900 kV/300 pF, non-inductive design, with an equalizing ring and a mobile chassis.
  5. Square-wave response complies with GB 311; scale factor uncertainty ≤ ±1%.
  6. Intelligent Measurement and Control System (YMT-7721)
  7. Based on a Siemens PLC and industrial PC, it provides fully automatic control of charging, discharging, polarity switching, and ball-to-ball distance tracking.
  8. Equipped with a Tektronix TBS2000 oscilloscope (100 MHz, 1.25 GS/s) and dedicated ATS measurement software for automatic data acquisition, analysis, and report generation.
  9. Features overvoltage/overcurrent protection, emergency tripping, automatic grounding, and remote communication (fiber optic).
